MAYE Corps News

We've changed our organization's name.
We at Metro Atlanta Youth Energy Corps (MAYE Corps), formerly Atlanta Youth Energy Corps, have recently decided to change our organization's name. We are a place-based organization in DeKalb County and we know that inequity doesn't stop at the city limits of Atlanta. Neither do we. We want our organization's name to be true to the communities we're working with to make a more equitable Metro Atlanta.

The Atlanta Solidarity Fund is now accepting donations to support #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd Protesters in Atlanta. The fundraiser is for bail expenses for those arrested. Any surplus funds will go toward their legal defense, and to support arrestees at other protests.
Donate here.

Your help is needed in other places, too. Check out this list of resources for petitions, contact information, organizations and causes to donate to, etc. We all have a part to play in combating systemic racism, so we encourage you to play yours today.
